Museums Holding No Relevant Objects
The Nazi-Era Provenance Internet Portal provides a searchable registry of
objects in U.S. museum collections that changed
hands in Continental Europe during the Nazi era (1933-1945). Only museums that have such objects in their collections can open accounts in the Portal.
A number of U.S. museums that have European fine art objects in their permanent collections but have no objects in their collections that qualify for listing in the Portal have asked for the opportunity to so certify to the public. The Portal is pleased to provide this service.
