The Nazi-Era Provenance Internet Portal project was honored with a 2004 Associations Advance America "Award of Excellence" from the American Society of Association Executives. The Associations Advance America Award honors programs that help give the general public a better understanding of the important work associations do and show how that work influences and adds value to Americans' daily lives.

September 8, 2003
The Nazi-Era Provenance Internet Portal is now open to the public. People seeking missing objects can now use the Portal's Quick Search and Advanced Search functions to check the collections of our participating museums.

April 14, 2003
The Nazi-Era Provenance Internet Portal is now open to the U.S. museum community. U.S. museums can input information about objects in their collections by contacting the Portal Administrator to request an account. The Portal will open its public search interface in September 2003.
